Back to the keyboard

So I’ve spent the last few weekends updating my five other blogs, and then quickly added this one.

I’ve played with wordpress for years, installing it myself for the first time back in 2006 or so.

In Summer 2013, I started the back-end web development class at General Assembly. It was BEWD04.

Loads of fun, and not enough time for me to dedicate to it. ( Kinda like triathlons and the long 4k swim….)

But I knew I’d be back. I spent the time between then and now finishing the first draft of my book. I knew that I would do better at this once I locked down the “right” way for me to work.

There’s no coincidence that one of the principles of war is Economy of Force. Saying no to coding gave me time to Mass my efforts and conquer the book.

So here we are. I’ve done enough that I can turn my focus to more coding projects, one by one.

The purpose of this blog is for me to describe my progress, in public, and to share the things I’ve learned along the way.

Thanks for coming. I hope this is as helpful to you as it is to me.
